Congratulations to Mrs. Smith for being chosen to present "How I Use Junk in My Classroom" at the OCEA conference in Cincinnati in October.  We knew your creativity would pay off!

Having a Great Time Together at Bishop Flaget!

 

There is always plenty of fun to be had at Bishop Flaget.  From chicken races and Talent Shows to Hands On Science Day and pep rallies, the students and teachers know how to enjoy the educational process!

Field Trips:

Kindergarten - Corcoran Farms, Fire Station

First Grade - Westmoreland Place with our Adopted Grandparents

Second Grade - Los Mariachi's, Feast of the Flowering Moon

Third Grade - Agriculture Awareness Day, trips to Pioneer School

Fourth Grade - Arbor Day Festivities at City Park, 7 Caves

Fifth Grade - COSI, Statehouse, Hirsch's Fruit Farm, Columbus Public Library, St. Peter's Church

Sixth Grade - Woodland Altars

Seventh and Eighth Grade - Chicago and Washington, D.C., Extended Stays

 

After School Enrichment - Tuesdays in March

Students have the opportunity to take part in workshops after school that focus on topics from gymnastics and karate to arts/crafts to music and archaeology.  Course offerings vary from year to year and are available to all students.  (Sponsored by the Bishop Flaget Parents' Club.)
