Barbara Nowlin graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College. She started teaching in the Chillicothe Catholic School System in 1982, teaching vocal/instrumental music at St. Mary's Middle School and Bishop Flaget High School. Cathy Bonner has a Bachelor's Degree in Education (grades 1-8) from Ohio University and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Ashland University. Diane Cryder

and a minor in psychology. She also holds an Early Childhood
certification from Ohio Dominican. Diane began teaching pre-K
at Bishop Flaget in 1988, and in 2000, she began teaching the third

Computer Science/Tech Coordinator - Mrs. Norris
Kara Norris graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Wildlife Biology. Mrs. Norris completed the AYA Life Sciences Program at Rio Grande in 2007. In 2007, she was recognized as a SMART Exemplary Educator and is considered "Highly Qualified" through the state of Ohio Board of Education. Mrs. Norris serves as our computer science teacher, 6th-8th grade science teacher, facilitator of our Mandarin Chinese Distance Learning Program, and technology coordinator for the school.
